Joining a Fishing Expedition
The GREATEST Fish is making available a number of spaces for Guest Anglers wishing to join one of our planned fishing expeditions.
Guest Anglers joining an expedition will be Guided and supported to give them the best chance of hooking up their dream fish. In addition to the knowledge and experience of our Guides the following is also available to assist:-
- Castable Sonar
- Most successful Lures, Flies, and Baits
- Rafts and Kayaks for accessing spots and position baits
- 4×4 Vehicles
- Live-Bait Supply
- Guide on Rigs and Tactics
- Fishing Tackle (can be provided at minimal charge)
The GREATEST Fish’s expeditions are not the norm, and are not offered by anyone else to the location we fish. Uniquely we are targeting and tracking down GREAT and Record Fish for our Guest Anglers at new locations and utilising innovative and new techniques. Therefore a far larger amount of research, planning, and organisation goes into each of our fishing expeditions to maximise the chances of the capture of a GREAT Fish, hopefully a World Record Fish. Reconnaissance Trips are undertaken by our Guides weeks and months in advance of the Main Fishing Expeditions, utilising the latest technologies such as Deeper Smart Sonar, GPS Mapping, and Drones to give our trips the edge. This research also drills right down to local levels with our Guides and “Fish Spotters” on the ground interviewing local villagers and fishermen to get the inside track. Each expedition is carefully planned down to the smallest detail and will only go ahead if the conditions are right for the possible capture of a GREAT Fish. We use new innovative Fishing Techniques to catch GREAT Fish and share these with our Angling Guests only. All of The GREATEST Fish’s angling activities are strictly Catch & Release and undertaken with an emphasis on fish welfare.
